New Pretties

On Wednesday night, there was a Stationery Box Class at my house! I featured some of the retiring paper (Bali Breeze and In Colors Texture). The ladies there really seemed to love it! During the class, stampers made not only the box but 4 cards, 3 note cards and 2 gift tags (which can also be made into a card!). This is one of those gift tags! The stamp set featured on this tag is called Dreams du Jour. It is BRAND NEW!! It will be in the new catalog coming out on August 11th! The rest of the paper is Rose Red, Whisper White. The ribbon is River Rock! You can't really tell in the photo but the butterfly is stamped, then stamped again on another piece of paper, cut out, and popped up on Dimensionals with a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds on the wings. It is just beautiful!

I am doing another Stationery Box Class on August 24th. This will be a completely different looking box (although the template is the same). I will be using new paper, new stamp sets... Oh I am so excited I can hardly stand it!

Thank you Ewe!

It's been a while since I posted *looks around to see if Mary is still there* I actually have lots to share with you! I will post more in a bit but here is the first project.

While I have cheated a bit and used a non-Stampin' Up! product, this card is stinking cute! I used Liquid Applique to make the sheep's wool. This card uses Wild Wasabi card stock & ribbon! Both are retiring so if you want it, better email me oh-so-soon. All the retired accessories go VERY QUICKLY!

Sketches

Ok, when did July hit?? Sheesh, I was just getting used to June when we are already almost two weeks into July! I assure you that I am stamping up a storm, as always. Some things I can't post yet. They are going to be my swaps for Convention. I don't want to put it on the Internet (because once you put it on the net, it lasts forever) until after Convention. I even did a few "different" ones for my Schriever Craft Fair but the concept is the same and I don't want to spoil the surprise just yet.

Here's two cards that I did for a challenge my group was doing. I belong to "Stamping By The Sea" - our upline created the Group name. We are 70 strong right now. I have my own group starting now... we are 3 strong right now! Of course, I am always looking for more members to join my team! At any rate, the boss says, "Christy, I want you to create sketches for our group to challenge them." I laughed like Renfield and said, "Yes boss... yes boss" and got to work. What's great about sketches, is it makes you think a bit while giving you a layout to play with. Some people have color challenge issues, others have layout issues - here, I take on the layout challenge.

Anyway, I have another cute card I want to share with you. I will post tomorrow.
