Diva Night

I love to spoil my hostesses! Every six months, I throw a party for those fabulous ladies that help me to grow my business. This FREE event is something that I do as a Thank You. They have guests come to their home, they prepare a light snack, they probably clean their house, and they have me come in and mess it all up! LOL!! I am totally kidding but... I so appreciate those women that do that work for me (and themselves)!

I usually spoil them with free product, a homemade meal, and of course, we stamp! This is one of the 4 projects that was prepared for them to do! These nugget tins (as I like to call them) are so versatile. Coming soon you will see yet another use for them :)

If you want to be a Diva, all you have to do is contact me! Let me spoil you in December! You are sooooo worth it!

This tin was inspired by the Demonstrator Magazine, Stampin' Success. They have this beautiful layout of wedding invitations. This magazine has been inspiring my month :) Did you know that Stampin' Up! is running an awesome special this month? Sign up for $85 and you get all the In-Colors and a stamp set? OMG! To die for!! Contact me for more details!

Fancy... Cont'd

As promised, I played with Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla - please know that is what that is SUPPOSED to be. LOL! I don't know what is going on with lighting in my house.

Anyway, I am having way too much fun with these Matchboxes and the Big Shot! I have even another color combination in mind... ooooooooo bet you can't wait! LOL

Thank you Ewe!

It's been a while since I posted *looks around to see if Mary is still there* I actually have lots to share with you! I will post more in a bit but here is the first project.

While I have cheated a bit and used a non-Stampin' Up! product, this card is stinking cute! I used Liquid Applique to make the sheep's wool. This card uses Wild Wasabi card stock & ribbon! Both are retiring so if you want it, better email me oh-so-soon. All the retired accessories go VERY QUICKLY!

1 Stamp Set - 4 Layouts

I know, I know. I have been a bad blogger. I can just hear you Mary, "Update your blog, Christy." So... this is for you, Mary! *blows Mary a kiss* We have had a lot going on this week. We found out that hubby is going to Iraq on April 15th. It all came up suddenly and we are all very stunned!

I still have lots to share with you. I just have been super busy making stuff. Territory Days is coming super fast. Anyway, I am hoping to download the pictures from my camera sometime soon.

All of the cards I did today were from the "Bloomin' Beautiful" stamp set from the "Occasions" catalog. I L-L-L-L-Love this set! It just screams, "WATERCOLOR ME!" So I have... and will again! This is just the Poppy stamp that I used this time. It's just gorgeous... This is probably the most elegant card I have ever made. Now, I have been influenced in this design by quite a few different ladies from Splitcoast Stampers. I can't remember who all had a part but thank you for posting your wonderful cards and inspiring me to create these!

While I would love to "post the recipe." It would take way too much time. Time that I don't have today. I will give you the basics though. I used Kraft, Basic Black and Shimmery White papers. I used stazon, groovy guava, purely pom, chocolate chip, summer sun, wild wasabi and blender pens for inks. I embossed, i used glitter... i used dimensional, taffeta ribbon, rhinestone brads from the Pretties Kit, and the new hodgepodge silver.

Yikes, I have another card layout to post and I am pretty much done talking... LOL! Not really, I could type all day but I don't want to bore you! *grins* This last card I added Close to Cocoa paper and It's Beautiful Jumbo wheel. This is my least favorite of the bunch but it's still beautiful! The one thing I forgot to do is sponge! I always sponge! Oh well.

These cards were all made for an aunt who got a thank you card from me, loved it and ordered 3 more cards! She over-paid me so I am sending her a 4th card. I hope she likes them!
